At last I found some time to write a post about a part of my summer vacations! It’s fall already but everyone enjoys some summer spirit even if summer has gone, right?
So, here I present you my time at north Euboea during August! We went by car, passing through Euboea which was magical if you are a strong driver! The first day of our trip was not so summery because the weather was just the opposite! Rain and cold but on the top of the mountain we stopped for a hot cheese-bread that calmed us for ever!! Then as you can see on the photos above we made a stop somewhere to rest and we found out a small river there! It was just after the rain and the scenery was beautiful!
When we arrived at G’s village we were welcomed by his grandmother and the cats! We ate some figs with cheese and the proper summer had just started!!
We stayed for a few days only but we had a great time. Swimming all day at paradise beaches, eating like kings, playing with the dapper cats that required quite patience I must say and relaxing a lot……
Lunch (rooster with spaggetti!!)under the tree shadow…I was trying here to get the most of them!!
This cutie was so low-voiced that was like been in silent mode
As you can see the beaches there are superb!! Just like I want them: quiet and calm, less people the best, with pebbles, clear blue waters and fishes to explore on the inside! One day the sea had a lot of jellyfishes (not harmful though) that scared me but G and I made a silly song about them so we had fun eventually!
If this isn’t the paradise I don’t know what is
This jellyfish has marked my childhood!!
This is everything…
Some of our equipment! The floating sea-animals (or sea-vehicles) weren’t ours unfortunately. And some of what we were seeing while lying down.
Sea vehicles are parked and waiting!
As we were staying all day at the beach we were present during the sunset. Which was magical. I loved the serenity of that time on that beach!
3 generations fishermen enjoy the evening
I must say that I’d taken my new camera for the first time so I tried a lot (!) of sunset shots!! It was hard of choosing just some of them!
Returning from the beach that day as the sky was magnificent-obviously-we saw an owl that stopped just in front of our car!! I was so excited!!!

Hello hello!!! I’m here again and trying to take advantage of that opportunity and write something! Almost one month ago, while I was cool and calm, with normal work to do – I even had started to feel insecure about future projects(and income of course…) a huge&urgent project came along! And as a result, as I always do, I fell in that deep whole of creativity and passion of completing the project and accomplishing all the tasks…for 2 weeks I was in a parallel universe, giving the 200% of myself, forgetting all the rest of the life! Of course I was dead after that, not just tired…I managed to do 1 month’s work in 2 weeks, but thankfully it was very satisfying, everything went well and I was quite proud after all 🙂
So this is the first weekend I have free time, the weather is hmm..nice and I’m planning walks with friends, I’m just thrilled!! Of course, architecture couldn’t miss from my weekend, as a small arch festival is happening in Athens by friends this weekend, and I’ll join but it will be fun!
What are your plans for the weekend?
I hope you’ll have fun anyway!
PS. As I was writing these my phone rang and an arch chore came up but it’s gonna be short and I’ll try to keep the spirit as before..!
Hello everyone! How is your weekend so far? Are you enjoying the sun somewhere calm or spending all day in bed? All I would like to do is spent some peaceful time in an environment like that lying in such a super cute deck chair and don’t think about anything stressful! Petting my cat with one hand and reading a book with the other… Have a nice Sunday!
Good morning, weekend is here! What are your plans for these days? I don’t know for myself yet, I’m going to work for sure but some relaxing is in my thoughts too… The weather these days is really crazy, one moment is hot, shinny etc and 5 minutes later the sky is fully cloudy and you need to put a coat on! And after 5 minutes again the sun is shinning..but 5 minutes after that it may rain! Totally crazy… In my unluckiness I could say I’m lucky I have work to do and I’m not in vacations. (Lie…!) The only truth is I’m daydreaming of being in the situation of the picture above! Relaxing in a hammock somewhere very far from civilization! Happy weekend my friends, with all the luck and misfortune of it!
And the DIY project of the weekend is very simple because I’m in the mood for easy stuff today. Decorate your garden, balcony or whatever you have with these cute and discreet faceted clay tealight holders! See the tutorialhere.
Time for summer vacation is finally here for me too!!! I can’t describe you how much I need this right now… From now on, this is what I’m going to do for the next days! Exactly like the photo above..this is my summer plan!! For those who will leave also I wish you to have a great time, rest, have fun, get tanned and return with a lot of memories and the batteries fully charged! For those who will stay in the city I wish you a great time too, summer in the city can be super exciting too! You can follow every proposal of the summer bucket list here!
